Q: How do I place an order?
The best way to place any orders is to stop in or call us at 360-908-8096 to place your order directly with our staff. Alternatively, you can send us an e-mail at BellaBellaCupcakes@Yahoo.com or through our website. We require pre-payment for all orders to be confirmed, and all orders must be placed no later than noon the day before (for example: an order for pick up on Thursday needs to be placed and paid for by noon on Wednesday).
Q: I left a voicemail or an e-mail placing an order, is my order confirmed?
A: No. Your order is confirmed when payment is received.
Q: Can I pay for my order at time of pickup?
A: We ask that all orders be prepaid before pickup. We bake fresh and specifically for your orders each morning and prepayment ensures no wasted product.
Q: I have severe food allergies; can you make cupcakes that are allergen free?
A: While we do make Gluten-free/Vegan cupcakes and other gluten-free products, and many of our flavors and products do not contain common allergens, we are not an allergen-free facility. Even with precautions taken, any of our products may come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. Therefore, we cannot guarantee any of our products as perfectly safe for someone with food allergies.
Q: Can I order any flavors I want? Or make up my own flavors?
A: We have a bake schedule that shows what flavors are offered each day. The bake schedule is subject to change based on large pre-orders or events. We ask that you observe the bake schedule to better facilitate the production scratch baking we perform daily. All of our flavor combinations have been created to specifically complement one another; we ask that you choose from our highly recommended flavors offered.
Q: When do I need to place my order?
For all standard decor orders we require that they be placed by noon the day before. For all other orders see below:
Fondant/Custom – We require 8 business days for all fondant orders.
Custom Cakes – For cakes we require 2 weeks notice.
Deliveries – We need 48 hours minimum notice for any deliveries. We have a very small staff and need to ensure that we have someone available to run the delivery.
Macarons – We require one week minimum notice for Macaron orders.
Cake Pops – One week minimum notice is needed for cake pop orders.
Mini Pies – We require one week of notice for all mini pie orders.
Q: Can you ship cupcakes?
A: We do not ship. As a scratch bakery we pride ourselves in a baked fresh daily product to offer our customers. We are happy to recommend a cupcakery in other cities to visit for your out of town needs.
Q: Can I bring in custom baking cups to have the cupcakes baked in?
A: We utilize custom baking liners that are larger than standard cupcake papers. Most baking cups people purchase are not the correct size for our pans which cause the cupcakes to bake differently. If you would like to dress the cupcake wrappers up, we recommend Bella Cupcake Couture, or similar products, as they work well with our baking cups and give you the unique look without compromising the product.
Q: Should I refrigerate my cupcakes?
A: We recommend keeping the cupcakes at room temperature. Since our product does not contain any preservatives and we use real butter, refrigeration tends to compromise the product.
Q: How do I order cupcakes with custom colored frosting?
A: All of our cupcakes are designed with color and presentation in mind. If you prefer custom colorization beyond our current offerings, there is a 5.00 fee for every two color choices added. (For instance if you want pink and blue it would be 5.00 additional, if you want pink, yellow, blue, it would be 10.00 additional).
Any color matching requested will be to the best of our decorators’ ability. Shades may differ based on product ingredients.
Q: Can I have 2 cupcakes delivered to someone at any time I want? Also, are there any additional costs for deliveries?
A: We have a minimum of 1 dozen standards or 2 dozen minis required for all deliveries. We offer deliveries between 10:30am-3:00pm. Since we run on a small staff we have to make sure we have someone available to leave the shop for the delivery. We also ask that we are given a 1 ½ hour window for delivery. We have a 15.00 delivery fee + mileage rate for Silverdale, Bremerton, Seabeck, Poulsbo areas. We have a 20.00 delivery fee + mileage rate for Kingston, Bainbridge Island, Suquamish, Port Orchard, or any other area beyond until Tacoma Narrows Bridge.
Q: I want to get 1 dozen cupcakes but want them boxed in boxes of 4. Can I do this?
A: We can certainly do this; however, there is an additional charge for packaging. We offer our dozens at a discounted price partially because it saves us on packaging. We charge 1.50 per extra box and 1.00 per individual bag.
Q: My fiance and I would like to schedule a wedding consult, how do we go about doing this?
A: Our wedding cupcake consults are complimentary. If you give us a call or send us an e-mail we can get this scheduled for you. This allows us to have more individualized one on one time with you and since we are a small staff, this time frame assures we have no interruptions during your consult. If this doesn’t work with your schedule please let us know and we will accommodate your schedule (with notice). Our cake consults have a 25.00 deposit that is used towards the purchase of a cake. However if the cake is not ordered or the customer doesn’t show to the consult the 25.00 is forfeited.
Q: I need to cancel my order can I get a full refund?
A: For all standard day to day orders we require a 48 hour notice for all cancellations in order to get a refund. You will receive a check in the mail within 7 business days for your refund.
Custom fondant orders – Any custom fondant orders are non-refundable.
Custom orders – We require 72 hour notice for cancellations in order to get refund for these orders. You will receive a check in the mail within 7 business days for your refund.
Event orders – Up to six weeks before the event date all payments are fully refundable aside from the date deposit. After six weeks only 50% of payments are refundable aside from date deposit. Four weeks prior to your event no refund is available.
Custom Cakes – In the event of cancellation: All payments toward the order, less the consultation and/or date deposit, are refundable up to one month before the order date. Less than one month, but more than two weeks before the due date, a 10% cancellation fee will be applied to all payments made. Less than two weeks before the order date, no refund is available, payments received will compensate for prep-work that will have been done and opportunity cost for orders that may have been turned down in favor of the cake that has already been ordered.
