Cupcake Camp Seattle is this Saturday!
How time flies when you are getting ready for a big event like Cupcake Camp! We”ve been test baking and sampling and brainstorming. We”ve ordered new t-shirts from Catie”s Creations, updated our website”s order form with our web designer, Amber Haynes of redlovesgreen, and we met Carrie Middlemiss of Bella Cupcake Couture to help distribute Cupcake Camp fliers all over Kitsap.
We”ll be announcing on Friday the cupcake contest flavors and sample flavors we are offering at Cupcake Camp Seattle. The event is free to attend with a suggested $10 donation. You will get to sample cupcakes from 13 professional bakers (including ours!) and 50 amateur bakers. There is a cupcake eating contest, fun cupcake crafts casinogreyesialies.com for the kids, and lots of general cupcake happiness for all to enjoy! Check out the Cupcake Camp Seattle website for more info and directions.
We are also super excited about Angela Dice of the Kitsap Sun visiting the kitchen last week to talk cupcake. She did an amazing job composing an article about Bella Bella Cupcakes and Cupcake Camp Seattle. The article posted to the Sun”s website yesterday afternoon and will be published this Friday. The response over just one day has been fantastical!! Our photos even popped onto the radar of Cupcakes Take the Cake, a New York based blogger duo who travels the country writing about cupcakes. Their posts are read by thousands of cupcake lovers and their opinions influence cupcake trends all over the country! Here are links to the Kitsap Sun article/video and Cupcakes Take the Cake”s blog site:
Our hearts are overwhelmed with gratitude for all of our cupcake fans! We want to say thank you as loud as we can to those of you, businesses and individuals, that have stood behind us with words of encouragement and support as we continue to grow. We can”t wait to represent you all as we swim with the big fish this weekend at the Cupcake Camp. We hope to see you there!
